Responsibilities:
- Develop modules of the initial enterprise system plan and work with the development team by coding advanced portions of the modules and delegation routine coding to other Developers.
- Conduct the testing of completed code modules with the help of other developers, fixing code as needed to ensure a smooth system deployment with the intended functionality.
- Plan and execute all deployment of system features and monitor for successful integration, maintaining the system throughout its lifecycle.
- Translate functional specifications into workable project deliverables and staging these according to team capability and capacity.
- Responsible for code review and quality control.
- Provide technical leadership and team support, as well as the ability to impart knowledge to others.
- Accountable and responsible for project delivery.
- Innovative problem solving, goal orientated and self-motivated.
- Ensuring continuous professional self-development and the mentoring of other Developers.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural reviews.
- Assist with the production of technical specifications and designs.
- Work in accordance to the prevailing delivery methodology as defined by the business.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for system maintenance and new development as required by the senior software engineer on their team.
- Responsible for committing code within specified timelines within the guidelines of the assigned team.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of delivered code and will take charge of component development as required.
- Expected to provide maintenance and code enhancements for the production team.
- Expected to be actively enhancing their knowledge of development principals, programming language development and elements of modern UI design and deployment.
- Required to deploy systems onsite at the customers from time to time.
- Expected to liaise with testing teams and where necessary directly with the customer.
- Work in accordance to the prevailing delivery methodology as defined by the business.
- Expected to be flexible with longer working hours from time to time.
- Expected to learn how to work well under pressure and motivate those on his/her team.

Work with our product development team to provide guidance and expertise on related matters in a Kubernetes environment, including but not limited to: monitoring, alerting, logging, performance analysis, configuration tuning, replicating, high availability, disaster recovery, benchmarking and user experience.
